Foundation Repair, Inc. has estimators and crews
that work along the Wasatch Front (Logan, Ogden, Salt Lake
City, Provo, Nephi, etc.) in Southern Utah (Cedar City, Kanab,
St. George, etc.) and Southern Nevada (Mesquite, Henderson,
Las Vegas, Pahrump, etc.). We can also make arrangements to
do projects in other areas of Utah and Nevada. If you think
that there is a problem with your foundation, contact us for
an onsite evaluation. We will be able to assess damage that
has occurred and determine the best plan for your situation.
For foundation movement we may recommend
using the Ram Jack Foundation Repair Systems
to underpin the existing structure with hydraulically driven
steel push piers or helical piers. Underpinning
is the process of improving an existing foundation system
by extending it to or into subsurface strata that is deeper
and more stable than the near surface soil that supports the
existing foundation system. Underpinning extends the foundation
support to depths that provide greater bearing capacity and/or
are less affected by climate and soil conditions.
If
underpinning is properly designed and installed, it will provide
the basis for lifting the structure to a more acceptable elevation
and provides vertical support to prevent future movement and
allow Intermountain Foundation Repair, Inc.
to provide a written warranty for most projects.
For water leaks through foundations
and basement floors we recommend the Basement Technologies
patented Water Trek Aqua Route System for a warranteed dry
basement. For well defined leaking wall cracks we often recommend
injecting a special Polyurethane water stop product placed
from the interior. In some cases, if the concrete is very
porous, we seal the walls by placing a waterproof membrane
on the outside of the leaking subterranean walls. On cracks
in structural concrete members that have been stabilized (not
getting larger) Intermountain Foundation Repair, Inc.
can inject Epoxy to bond and strengthen the existing concrete.
Intermountain Foundation Repair, Inc. can also review the
drainage around the structure and for areas of ponding or
water being directed towards the structure and make recommendations
for mitigation.
