Foundation Settlement Repair

The RAM JACK System incorporates both helical and hydraulically driven steel piers with a proven track record. The steel pier material has been tested and specifically selected for its unusually high quality to resist bending and buckling. The System causes little disturbance to landscape, the work is completed quickly, and due to the high quality of the materials used, Intermountain Foundation Repair, Inc. is able to provide a lifetime warrantee for the hydraulically driven piers and engineered helical piers.

Helical & Preconstruction Piers

The helical pier system is very useful for stabilizing light loaded structural members such as porch columns, wing walls, slabs, and interior floors. Helical piers can also support heavier structures if soil conditions are suitable for higher bearing requirements. The Patented Ram Jack helical pier has a screw together connection which makes it particularly useful for wall tie backs or uplift resistant anchors.

Pre-Construction Piers Helical piers for new construction are good in expansive soils, high water tables, fill areas, and other areas where unstable soils require piering. Use of pre-construction piers can result in significant cost savings when compared to deep over-excavation or cast in place reinforced concrete piers. Our pre-construction piers can be designed for ultimate loads from 30,000 lbs to 150,000 lbs each.

Wall Failure Repair & Structural Reinforcement

Intermountain Foundation Repair, Inc. is the local distributor of the FORTRESS STABILIZATION reinforcing product. We primarily use this epoxy incapsulated carbon and kevlar fiber product to reinforce basement walls that have begun to fail, bow and crack. The material can also be used to restore structural integrity to bridge columns, concrete beams, and to mend cracks in concrete structures.

Structural Crack Repair

Semi-flexible and flexible sealants are usually the best solution for crack and joint related problems. Nevertheless, there are conditions where structural repair is necessary and specified. Structural strength is achieved by using epoxy injection resins. Epoxy resins provide very high bond and compressive strength, and can restore cracked concrete to a complete monolithic piece.

Concrete Lifting/Slab Jacking

Residential, Commercial, Municipal. Intermountain Foundation Repair, Inc. lifts sidewalks, streets, ramps, patios, driveways, foundations, parking lots, garage floors, and basements - almost anything that is concrete. Concrete lifting is a cost-effective alternative to replacing concrete. Slab Jacking can usually be done for less than half the cost of pouring new concrete, however, the savings may be even greater since the costs of demolition, removal, and landscaping are eliminated.
