Intermountain Foundation Repair, Inc. has teamed up with Basement Technologies, a proven manufacture of basement improvement products. Basement Technologies not only produces the basement improvement products but also installs the product in the Boston, MA area. Basement Technologies also requires all of their dealers to go through hands-on training at their Boston facilities.

In situations where ground water or drainage problems cause water to enter the basement around the perimeter or through the floor, Intermountain Foundation Repair, Inc. uses Basement Technologies patented Water Trek Aqua Route.

Water Trek Aqua Route ®

The Water Trek Aqua Route® system will be installed by waterproofing and building professionals in thousands of homes all over the country this year. Soil composition and footing wall floor construction vary greatly from one house to another - each basement is different. The Water Trek Aqua Route® system is engineered to meet each individual sub-floor situation.

The Water Trek Aqua Route® system is comprised of two unique patented components, The Water Trek and Cove Base. The design enables Intermountain Foundation Repair, Inc. to solve any situation encountered under the floor. Your dealer can "custom tailor" each system to each sub-floor situation encountered.

Research proves that water originates from in front of the footing as well as from the footing foundation wall seam. The Water Trek Aqua Route® conduit has holes on both sides to handle both areas.

The footing configuration in relation to the floor (slab) and the foundation wall is the key to installing a successful waterproofing system. Water Trek Aqua Route® is uniquely adaptable and can handle all four (4) possible configurations.

THE COVE BASE
The Cove Base is an integral part of the Water Trek two-piece system. It fits on the wall and channels water from the wall above the floor to the sub-floor Water Trek System. Water Trek Aqua Route® Cove Base is unique in several ways:

It can create a virtually air-tight fit on most foundations eliminating potential radon gas, sub-floor smells or insects from entering the living space. At the same time it enables water from above (on the wall) to drain into the Water Trek Aqua Route® under the floor.

The Cove Base can be applied on any footing configuration, easily adaptable to all sub-floor conditions. The cove base also eliminates the need for an "air gap" that most systems need to function. Slots on the bottom of the Cove Base easily allow water from the footing to pass to the Water Trek Aqua Route® system.
