Waterproofing Services
Trust An Experienced Waterproofing Contractor
Intermountain Foundation Repair, Inc. provides exacting waterproofing services to correct leaks and prevent further structural damage to your property. As a local waterproofing contractor, one of our top goals is providing our customers with the information they need to understand the services necessary to stop water leaks and improve drainage.
Water Leak Repair
Polyurethane Foam Injection: Cracks contract and expand periodically over time, which may be as long as a year or as short as several hours. Since most structures experience periodic movement, rigid crack repair materials often fail or cause other cracks in areas nearby. The Flexible Polyurethane Injection System was designed with these problems in mind. It has been proven to be of superior quality and unique to the injection industry in its comprehensiveness. Intermountain Foundation Repair uses a high pressure injection system that forces the polyurethane to penetrate completely through the wall and provides a more effective seal.
Basement Water Collection & Sump System
Intermountain Foundation Repair, Inc. has teamed up with Basement Technologies, a proven manufacturer of basement improvement products. Basement Technologies requires all of their dealers to go through hands-on training at their Boston facilities. The patented Aqua Route and Cove Base can be customized for any foundation configuration. On full perimeter drain systems we can provide a Life-Time Dry Basement Warranty.
Below Grade Waterproofing
The MULTICOAT System for below grade applications is a multi-layer spray-on or roll-on protective coating that combines an elastomeric waterproofing membrane with a latex-modified cementitious dry mix. The System can be applied to most surfaces: concrete block, poured in place concrete, slump stone, polyfoam sheeting, etc. The Below Grade Waterproofing System is used wherever it is necessary to waterproof below grade walls, retaining walls, or foundation walls with a system that remains elastomeric indefinitely.
Surface Water Drainage Improvement
Surface water on a site is often the primary contributor to foundation problems. The water usually comes from precipitation or irrigation. Intermountain Foundation Repair, Inc. can review the drainage around the structure and make recommendations for mitigation. Mitigation sometimes will involve replacing and sealing window wells, removing the existing landscaping, excavating to change the grade, and installing surface drains and a drain line system to dispose of surface water and runoff.
